VistaBlue, Singer Island's newest luxury highrise development, is nearing a sellout before its completion.

The 58-unit residential oasis opened two months ago when it hit 70 percent sold. Now, builders are finishing up the details with only 14 units left.

One of the two penthouses just sold for $7.56 million, or $1,176 per square foot- the richest sum ever paid in Singer Island condo history. The other penthouse is still available for $7.74 million and the lowest price for a residence is $1.56 million. The average sale price of the 35 closed units was $2.68 million.

The Riviera Beach-Singer Island Triathlon/Duathlon is a race held every year to showcase our beautiful beaches, involve the community and encourage health and fitness.

The race will take place this Saturday, June 23rd, from 6:45-9:15 a.m. Watch the runners racing by the beaches and head over to the Ocean Mall for breakfast with them at the finish line. 

The event has been uber-popular over the past few years and Riviera Beach-Singer Island is always expressed as favorite race location for the athletes. In the past the race has seen nearly 600 participants from New Jersey to Switzerland to right here at home.

The Triathlon/Duathlon begins at the beach where Tri participants do a quarter-mile swim while Duathlon participants do a 1 mile run.

Anchorage Park Marina, a popular gathering spot for residents of North Palm, is about to get a much-needed makeover.

The park had a temporary sea wall that will finally be replaced, it'll get 16 new floating docks, a kayak launch and a new fillet table for anglers to prepare dinner when they return from being out on the water. The dog park is also getting redone and the fields are getting new sod. 

The renovations will begin now and the goal is to be done by October 1st. In the mean time, North Palm residents have access to two temporary boat slips from the marina. 

The makeover is being paid for by grants and village funds. The town is awaiting to see if they receive an additional grant which would allow them to build even more boat slips

On the third Friday of each month you can catch a movie under the stars at Bicentennial Park on the Riviera side of the Intracoastal.

The community comes together for food, fellowship and fun during a night full of events. At 6 p.m. grab some grub from the food truck frenzy, at 7 listen to local bands battle it out for Battle of the Bands and at 8 the movie starts!

This Friday, the movie will be Marvel's Avengers. Bring a blanket or chairs to get comfortable on the lawn and watch the flick on the waterfront. 

Take your spouse out for a cheap date or bring your family to this unique event.

Across the Intracoastal on the Florida mainland sits Lake Park Harbor Marina, where the famous Sunset Celebration takes place once a month.

Head back over the Blue Heron Bridge and take the five-minute trip north to the marina on the last Friday of every month for an evening of food, drinks, live music and art.

The Sunset Celebration takes place from 6-9 p.m. featuring live music entertainment from local bands, a cash bar (with happy hour prices the first hour) and a variety of food, arts and crafts from local vendors. Admission is free and so is parking.

The next celebration will be a Red, White & Blue Celebration on June 29th just before Independence Day. Wear patriotic colors and enjoy a free concert from Whisky Six.

A beach set up rental includes two lounge chairs under a cabana for $40 a day or $10 an hour. A single lounge chair or umbrella can be rented for $7 an hour or $20 a day. The company also sells beach apparel like hats and sunglasses and sun tan lotion, sun screen, etc.

The Singer Island Green & Artisan Market is the island's newest outdoor market with "a little bit of everything."

Every Friday at the Ocean Walk Mall, you can find vendors selling items like handmade jewelry, clothing, specialty foods, produce, art, health and wellness supplies and more.

The market is right along the mall strip, just steps from the beach. Have lunch at one of the Ocean Walk restaurants like Two Drunken Goats or Mulligan's. You can bring Fido too since everything's outdoors.

Check out the Singer Island Green & Artisan Market between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Fridays and see interesting and organic goods made by locals.
