VistaBlue, Singer Island's newest luxury highrise development, is nearing a sellout before its completion.

The 58-unit residential oasis opened two months ago when it hit 70 percent sold. Now, builders are finishing up the details with only 14 units left.

One of the two penthouses just sold for $7.56 million, or $1,176 per square foot- the richest sum ever paid in Singer Island condo history. The other penthouse is still available for $7.74 million and the lowest price for a residence is $1.56 million. The average sale price of the 35 closed units was $2.68 million.

Nine residences are currently under contract drawing buyers from the Northeast and from other towers on Singer Island. What's surprising to developers is how many people from the Midwest have purchased at VistaBlue; two from Chicago, some from Ohio, and others from Indiana, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri. Buyers include current and former college football coaches, multiple CEOs of financial corporations and other billionaires.

While the luxury market has generally declined in Palm Beach County and nationwide, Singer Island condos are attracting buyers who like to "lock and leave," avoiding the hassle of owning a high-maintainance estate. VistaBlue's superior construction design, top-quality finishes and unparalleled oceanfront views are the true reason buyers have decided to call it their new home.

There are currently 11 residences still available on the Beaches MLS.
