The award-winning restaurant, 3800 Ocean at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort, has announced James King as its new executive chef.

“We’re thrilled to have James King overseeing the culinary program at Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa,” said Roger Amidon, the resort’s manager, “James brings a wealth of knowledge in successfully developing and executing top-quality menus, and exceeding guest expectations and business goals. Visitors are already raving about the new flavors and dining options.”

King has his Culinary Arts degree from the International Culinary Academy. He has 17 years of experience cooking in South Florida at resorts including Delray Sands, the Miami Four Seasons and The Breakers. He's known for mastering farm-to-table and fine dining impressions with a special concentration on seafood, even appearing on tv to showcase his unique seafood dishes.

3800 Ocean can expect some cultivated menu changes to fit the taste and style of SoFlo. The restaurant is already a favorite for its casual sophisticated atmosphere and amazing beachfront views. Try the new flavors that guests are already loving King for.
