One of the safest places to live in Florida, North Palm Beach is about to receive an overhaul to the village’s public country club.

Originally built in 1963 for $400,000, the North Palm Beach Country Club and its pool have been well overdue for a make-over. With an increase in area property value and notable affluent residents, a lot has improved in this beautiful seaside town since then. The 55-year old clubhouse has since been demolished in lieu of an $18 million upgrade.

The new 37,000 square foot clubhouse will include a lavish community room to be used for banquets, a restaurant, a pro shop, locker rooms, and storage for golf carts. The 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course is also receiving a face-lift with brand new sod and grass

Florida is often known as the Golf Capital of the World thanks to Palm Beach County. The area has 160 courses- more than any other place in the state- and some of the nation's top PGA Tour members have settled down in Palm Beach because of this.
