The Brewhouse Gallery

Just over the Blue Heron Bridge, the Brewhouse Gallery is a trendy spot for Singer Island residents to go to. It's a unique place incorporating an art gallery, live music venue, bar and restaurant.

The Brewhouse is open Tuesday-Sunday in the afternoon and evening. It hangs art from 18 local artists, changing pieces every 3 months. The art is on display and for sale, commission free. The concept is to revolutionize modern art galleries- boosting foot traffic, exposure, and ultimately sales.

The venue is visually inspiring and a place to be creative and share ideas with new people. Besides art on every inch of the walls, there's a small stage for local bands to play, tables and benches to have a beer and relax, and there's food from 5:30 p.m.-close.

They carry 45 beers on tap from all over the world and from microbreweries around town like Funky Buddha, Tequesta Brewing Co., and Due South. There's also a full wine list and alcohol-free beverages like coffee, special sodas, and award-winning homemade sangria.

Every evening, Chef Leilani, a Hawaiian native, prepares incredibly fresh, island-inspired food. Her menu changes daily but frequent dishes include tacos with roasted pork or filet mignon (Taco Tuesday), coconut shrimp, pizza, pad thai, fresh guacamole, her famous crabcakes, and much more.

Aside from live music, there's always something going on at the Brewhouse. Whether it's trivia night, poetry reading, or painting classes, you'll love the vibe at this awesome spot. Next time you're looking for a new place to try, head over to the Brewhouse in Lake Park.

Hours are Tuesday from 5-10 p.m., Wednesday-Friday 3 p.m.-midnight, and weekends noon-midnight.
