What To Know About Peanut Island

Peanut Island, the 80-acre tropical island located at the west end of the Lake Worth Inlet, is a popular weekend and holiday destination for locals and visitors to enjoy South Florida. Here is everything you need to know about the get-there-by-only-boat park:

Park Your Boat

Whether it's at one of the free slips available on the island, or anchoring offshore, there are plenty of places to pull your boat up and enjoy a day at Peanut Island.

No Boat? No Problem

If you don't have a boat of your own to take over to Peanut Island, there are a few water taxi options for you. The Peanut Island Water leaves from Riviera Beach Municipal Marina every 30 minutes. There is also the Peanut Island Shuttle, which departs from the Sialfish Marina on Singer Island.

Things To Do on Peanut Island

After you get to Peanut Island, there are many things you can do. In addition to lounging around on the beach, or enjoying the water, there are two snorkeling spots, the old JFK Bunker which you can take a tour through, and pkenty of nature and wildlife to check out on the observation deck.
