Roger Dean Stadium Is Palm Beach County's Home For Baseball

Roger Dean Stadium, located in Abacoa, plays many roles throughout the baseball season.

During the months of February and March, it plays home to the St Louis Cardinals and Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball. Both orgainzations have call Jupiter and Rodger Dean Stadium their home for Spring Training. The Cardinals have called Rodger Dean Stadium home since the stadium opened in 1998, while the Marlins have been playing there since 2003.

After the two major league clubs pack up at the end of March and head to their respective cities for the MLB season, both franchise's Single A minor league affiliates take over the stadium. From April through September, the stadium plays host to the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State league. The Palm Beach Cardinals are the minor league affiliate of the St Louis Cardinals, while the Hammerheads are affiliated with the Marlins.

During the minor league season, Rodger Dean Stadium offers specials and promotions geared for fans of all ages, including Knothole Gang night for the kids, Silver Sluggers Night for those fans $55 and up, and $1 beer night for those fans that like to enjoy a few brews with their baseball. In addition, the stadium has "themed" nights throughout the season for the whole family, such as Star Wars Night and Superhero Night. The "themed" nights are typically on Saturday's with a special early start time so the entire family can get out and enjoy some baseball.
