Inside 5000 North Ocean: What Boutique Living Looks Like on Singer Island

Singer Island is known for variety. Established oceanfront towers, resort-style residences, and a small number of newer luxury buildings all share the same four-mile stretch of barrier island. Much of that inventory dates back decades, which is part of what makes 5000 North Ocean stand out. It is one of the most recently built towers on the island, and one of only a handful of new-construction luxury buildings to arrive on Singer Island in recent years.

Set in the middle of Singer Island in Riviera Beach, 5000 North Ocean pairs that newer construction with a small, private setting. For buyers who want contemporary design, generous square footage, and the quiet that comes with a low-density building, it is one of the island’s most distinctive addresses.

One of Singer Island’s Newest Oceanfront Buildings

Most of the condominium buildings on Singer Island were built in earlier decades, and many show their age in the form of older layouts, aging systems, and finishes that need updating. 5000 North Ocean is a clear exception. Completed in 2020, it is among the newest oceanfront towers on the island, which is a meaningful advantage in a market where genuinely new construction is rare.

For buyers, newer construction brings things that are difficult to retrofit into an older building. The residences were designed with open, flow-through layouts, floor-to-ceiling impact glass, and contemporary kitchens and baths that reflect how people want to live today. Much of the building is move-in ready, without the renovation budget that older units often require.

The tower was developed by Kolter, through its Kolter Urban division, and topped off in 2018 before reaching completion in 2020. It was designed by Randall Stofft Architects in collaboration with BC Architects, with interiors by The Decorators Unlimited. The result is a tropical-modern aesthetic, with clean lines, walls of glass, and a signature gated entrance that reads as current rather than trend-driven.

A Boutique Building by Design

Beyond its age, the other defining trait of 5000 North Ocean is its size. The 19-story tower holds just 48 residences, with only three homes per floor. That ratio is the heart of what makes the building feel boutique. In a market where some oceanfront towers hold well over a hundred units, a building this small means quieter common areas, shorter elevator waits, and a stronger sense of privacy day to day.

The site reinforces that feeling. 5000 North Ocean sits on roughly 4.5 acres with more than 340 feet of direct oceanfront, and much of the property has been left as natural habitat and dune. That gives residents a low-density, open feel along the beach that is increasingly hard to find on a developed barrier island.

Generously Sized Residences

The residences at 5000 North Ocean are built around space. The building offers four distinct floor plans ranging from roughly 2,706 to 4,897 square feet of living area, and even the smallest is larger than many full units in older island buildings. Each plan was designed to capture the oceanfront in its own way, so the choice is less about how many options exist and more about which living experience fits you best.

The Beachwalk is the building’s center residence, a two-bedroom-plus-den layout of about 2,706 square feet with direct ocean views.

The Seabreeze occupies the building’s corners and is a flow-through plan of roughly 3,753 square feet. Its east and west terraces capture both sunrise over the Atlantic and sunset over the Intracoastal.

The Sandcastle is a dune-level residence of about 3,907 square feet, designed for buyers who want the feel of an oceanfront beach home rather than a tower unit. It pairs with an oversized oceanfront terrace of roughly 2,400 square feet, a raised private sundeck, and a gazebo.

At the top of the lineup, the Seaglass is the building’s showpiece. It is a two-story residence of about 4,897 square feet, including a living area with 20-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to match. There are only four of them in the entire building, located on the 12th, 15th, 17th, and 19th floors.

Finishes and Everyday Details

Inside, the residences lean into the contemporary-coastal feel that defines the building. Floor-to-ceiling impact glass and sliding doors fill the great rooms with light and frame the water views, while glass-panel balcony rails keep the terraces open and unobstructed.

Kitchens are built around large social islands and outfitted with Thermador appliances, including gas cooking, paired with European-style cabinetry and quartz surfaces. Many residences are reached by private elevator entry, which adds to the sense of a single-family home stacked in the sky rather than a unit off a shared corridor. Each home also comes with secured garage parking, and the building includes climate-controlled storage and bike storage.

Amenities Scaled to the Building

Because 5000 North Ocean has so few residences, its amenities are designed for a smaller community rather than a crowd. The centerpiece is the oceanfront pool and spa, accented with tropical hardwood surfaces and surrounded by a sun deck, fireplaces, multiple seating areas, and a covered cabana.

Beyond the pool, residents have access to a private Oasis Beach Zone, a seaside area reserved exclusively for the building, along with a state-of-the-art fitness center and a Resident Club Room that includes a catering kitchen, coffee station, and bar. Service and security are handled through a guard-gated entrance, 24-hour staffing, and access-controlled entry points throughout the lobbies, garage, and amenity areas. The building is also pet friendly, and electric-vehicle charging spaces have been made available for residents.

Location on the Island

5000 North Ocean sits along the middle stretch of Singer Island, which keeps residents close to the water in both directions. To the north, Palm Beach Gardens and its marinas are a short drive away, and additional marinas sit just across the bridge to the south, a meaningful detail for boaters. Beyond the island, the broader Palm Beach County lifestyle is within easy reach, with dining, shopping, golf, cultural venues, and Palm Beach International Airport all nearby.

That combination of a quiet, low-density oceanfront setting with the conveniences of northern Palm Beach County close by is much of what draws buyers to this part of the island.

Who 5000 North Ocean Suits Best

Buyers drawn to 5000 North Ocean tend to value newer construction, space, and privacy over the larger amenity programs and bustle of bigger resort-style towers. The generous square footage suits full-time residents and serious second-home owners who want room to spread out, host family, and live comfortably rather than simply visit.

At the same time, the small unit count and lock-and-leave services make it well suited to seasonal owners who want a building that feels private and well-managed when they are away. As with any Singer Island building, the right fit depends on the specific residence, the floor, the view, and how each layout matches the way you plan to live.

Considering 5000 North Ocean? Start With a Conversation

5000 North Ocean is one of Singer Island’s newest and most distinctive boutique addresses, but the details matter. Which floor plan, which exposure, and how a given residence compares to others on the island all shape the decision. That is where local guidance makes the difference.

Best Condo Amenities on Singer Island for Luxury Buyers

Singer Island is a four-mile barrier island just north of Palm Beach, hemmed by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. It is one of South Florida's rare stretches where wide, walkable beaches meet genuine resort-grade real estate without the congestion of the bigger-name coastal markets. For luxury buyers, the island's appeal comes down to one thing more than any other: the amenities. The best buildings here are not simply places to live — they are clubs, spas, and beach resorts that happen to come with a deed.

If you are weighing a purchase on Singer Island, the amenity package should be near the top of your evaluation list. It shapes your daily lifestyle, it protects your resale value, and it tells you a great deal about how a building is run. Below is a guide to the amenities that matter most at this level, the buildings that do them best, and why working with a true island specialist like Angela Voland makes the difference.

Why Amenities Drive Value on Singer Island

In a luxury oceanfront market, two condos with similar square footage and similar views can carry very different price tags and the gap usually traces back to the building itself. A well-staffed concierge, a properly maintained pool deck, real beach service, and a fitness center people actually want to use are the features that keep a building desirable decade after decade. They are also the features that are hardest to add later, which is why buyers pay a premium for the buildings that got them right from the start.

The amenities below are organized by the experiences luxury buyers care about most, with the standout Singer Island buildings called out under each.

Resort-Style Pools and Sun Decks

A great pool deck is the social heart of any oceanfront building, and Singer Island sets a high bar.

At The Ritz-Carlton Residences, owners enjoy two distinct pools: an expansive resort pool set on a tropically landscaped deck and a heated oceanfront lagoon-style pool, plus two whirlpool spas, towel service, and a poolside grille restaurant. It is one of the most complete pool experiences anywhere in Palm Beach County.

VistaBlue Singer Island takes a more boutique approach with a striking elevated sun deck featuring a pool, a spa pool, a bar, grilling stations, and fire pits — a layout designed for both relaxed mornings and entertaining at sunset.

Just up the beach, 5000 North Ocean answers with its own oceanfront resort pool set on an expansive sundeck, complete with outdoor fire features, a covered cabana, and a full catering kitchen with a BBQ area for poolside entertaining.

For buyers drawn to a true resort atmosphere, The Resort at Singer Island — whose amenities are operated by Marriott — offers two heated pools, including one with a waterslide and waterfall and a second infinity-style pool overlooking the beach, all served by poolside dining.

Private Beach Access and Beach Service

Direct, deeded beach access is the amenity that separates Singer Island from much of the South Florida market, and the best buildings make it effortless.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences sit on roughly 8.8 acres with 375 feet of private beachfront, reached through a gated boardwalk, with chairs, umbrellas, and towel service set up daily for residents. Water Glades is remarkable for its sheer scale of frontage — over 1,000 feet of private beach across its 11-acre, three-tower community, one of the largest private beach allotments on the island.

Among the newer buildings, 5000 North Ocean stands out for its beach experience: more than 340 feet of private oceanfront across a 4.5-acre site, plus landscaped walking paths and a gazebo with stairs leading directly down to the sand, and the resident-only "Oasis Beach Zone" — a seaside lounge area reserved exclusively for owners.

Spa, Fitness, and Wellness

Wellness amenities have become non-negotiable for luxury buyers, and Singer Island's top buildings have responded.

The clear leader for full-service spa life is The Resort at Singer Island, home to SiSpa — a full-service spa offering massage, facials, and relaxation treatments, operated by Marriott alongside a fitness center with ocean views. Owners enjoy hotel-grade wellness without leaving the building.

VistaBlue built wellness into its private Residents' Club, which includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, separate men's and women's luxury locker rooms with saunas, and a spa pool on the oceanfront sun deck.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences pair an oceanview fitness center with adjoining locker rooms and the building's broader five-star service culture. 5000 North Ocean likewise offers a state-of-the-art fitness center for its 48 residences. And the established communities hold their own: Water Glades offers fitness rooms along with a putting green, pickleball, and tennis for a more active, country-club feel.

Concierge, Valet, and White-Glove Service

At the highest end, service is the amenity. It is also the hardest thing for a building to fake.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences remain the island's benchmark, with 24-hour concierge, valet parking, a guard-gated entrance, and the legendary Ritz-Carlton service standard applied to residential living — the kind of lock-and-leave convenience that seasonal and full-time owners prize equally.

The Resort at Singer Island offers valet, a full-time concierge, and the optional benefit of a professional rental-management program — run through Marriott — for owners who want their residence to generate income when they are away.

VistaBlue delivers boutique-scale service with a grand porte-cochère entry, gated staff entry, and 24-hour concierge and security. 5000 North Ocean offers a similar private, gated experience — a 24-hour manned gate at the street, concierge lobby services, secured under-building garage parking with two spaces per residence, climate-controlled storage, and private elevator-foyer entry to each home. Oasis rounds out the group with a 24-hour manned gate and concierge service for its small, exclusive collection of full-floor residences.

Indoor Lifestyle Amenities

The best Singer Island buildings extend well beyond the pool and beach into private theaters, social rooms, and clubrooms designed for the way owners actually live.

Beachfront, Ocean’s Edge and The Ritz-Carlton Residences offer cinema-style private screening rooms. Beyond the screening room, Ritz-Carlton also offers a social room with a catering kitchen and billiards table, a boardroom and business center, a library, and even a chef-maintained herb garden — all of which are currently undergoing renovation.

VistaBlue counters with a social lounge, a club room, a card and game room, a boardroom, and temperature-controlled wine storage with an individual locker assigned to each residence — a thoughtful touch for serious collectors. 5000 North Ocean keeps things refined and intimate with a resident club room and a community lounge with a bar, plus comfortable seating areas designed for hosting friends and guests. Water Glades features an owner’s lounge, clubroom, and library that give the building a genuine sense of community.

Premium Add-Ons Worth Knowing About

A distinctive feature of Singer Island's top buildings is the menu of premium amenities available for purchase beyond the residence itself. At the Ritz-Carlton Residences, owners can acquire enclosed private garages, oceanfront cabanas, private guest suites, junior garages for sporting equipment, and air-conditioned private storage rooms. These extras can meaningfully shape both your lifestyle and your long-term investment, and knowing which are available and what they realistically cost is exactly the kind of insight a seasoned local agent like Angela Voland brings to the table.

A Quick Snapshot of Singer Island's Standout Buildings

The Ritz-Carlton Residences (2700 N. Ocean Dr.) — Two 27-story towers, 242 residences on 8.8 acres with 375 feet of private beach. The island's flagship for five-star service and the deepest amenity package.

5000 North Ocean (5000 N. Ocean Dr.) — A separate boutique tower, completed in 2020, with just 48 flow-through residences on 4.5 acres and 340+ feet of private beach, an oceanfront pool, and the resident-only Oasis Beach Zone.

The Resort at Singer Island (3800 N. Ocean Dr.) — A condo-hotel and private residences with amenities operated by Marriott: a full spa, multiple restaurants, two pools, and an optional rental program.

Oasis Singer Island (3920 N. Ocean Dr.)— An ultra-exclusive community of full-floor residences with 360-degree views and a private, gated feel.

Water Glades (5510–5550 N. Ocean Dr.) — A three-tower, 11-acre community with over 1,000 feet of private beach, two pools, tennis, pickleball, and a putting green — outstanding value-luxury.

Golf Communities and Clubs Near Singer Island

Singer Island is not a golf community in the traditional sense. It is something better suited to many Palm Beach County buyers: an oceanfront place to live with excellent golf nearby.

For buyers who want beach mornings, Intracoastal views, resort-style condo amenities, and easy access to the courses of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, Singer Island offers a compelling lifestyle. From municipal golf with championship design pedigree to resort courses and some of the most storied private clubs in the country, the surrounding area gives Singer Island residents plenty of ways to stay close to the game.

That is one of the quiet advantages of living on Singer Island. The island itself delivers the waterfront lifestyle. The surrounding Palm Beach County corridor delivers the golf.

Why Singer Island Works for Golfers

For many condo buyers, this flexibility is exactly the point. A Singer Island residence lets you live by the ocean without giving up access to the sport. You can play a morning round nearby, spend the afternoon on the beach, and return to a building with concierge service, pools, fitness amenities, valet parking, and water views. It is a different version of the golf lifestyle, one built around access rather than being tied to one specific club community.

This matters especially for seasonal residents and second-home buyers. Many already have club affiliations elsewhere. Others want to enjoy golf casually while spending more time at the beach, boating, dining, or entertaining family. Singer Island gives those buyers a strong coastal base while keeping golf close.

North Palm Beach Country Club

One of the most relevant golf options for Singer Island residents is North Palm Beach Country Club. Located just across the Intracoastal in North Palm Beach, the course is especially notable because it is a Jack Nicklaus Signature design. It is one of only two municipal courses in the United States designed by Jack Nicklaus, with a par-71 layout, rolling fairways, elevation changes, and well-bunkered greens.

That combination makes North Palm Beach Country Club unusually attractive for nearby residents. It offers a serious golf experience without the same barriers associated with many private clubs. For Singer Island condo owners, it can be a practical everyday option: close enough for a regular round, a relaxed lunch, or a golf outing with visiting friends.

The club also has a substantial clubhouse, giving it more of a country club feel than many public-access facilities. For buyers who want Singer Island’s oceanfront setting but still value easy golf access, North Palm Beach Country Club is one of the strongest lifestyle anchors nearby.

PGA National Resort

PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens is one of the best-known golf destinations near Singer Island. The resort has long been associated with championship golf and professional tournament history. PGA National’s member club notes that its courses have been connected to major events including the 1983 Ryder Cup, the 1987 PGA Championship, the PGA Senior Championship for 19 years, and currently the Cognizant Classic.

For Singer Island buyers, PGA National adds another layer to the lifestyle. It is not simply a place to play golf. It is part of the larger luxury infrastructure that makes northern Palm Beach County so appealing. Golf, dining, spa amenities, resort services, and Palm Beach Gardens shopping and restaurants are all within reach.

This is especially useful for seasonal residents. A buyer can own on the beach, enjoy the oceanfront condo lifestyle, and still have access to a well-known golf resort environment nearby. It makes Singer Island feel connected to the broader Palm Beach golf scene rather than separate from it.

Abacoa Golf Club

Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter gives Singer Island residents another strong public golf option within the northern Palm Beach County corridor. Designed by Joe Lee, its layout reflects the kind of approachable but strategic design that has made many of his Florida courses so enduring. Abacoa describes the course as one of South Florida’s finest public courses, with lakes, bunkers, sloping fairways, and scenic views created by water on 14 of its 18 holes.

For Singer Island buyers, Abacoa is especially useful because it adds variety. It is not a private club environment or a resort course. It is a public course with a championship-caliber feel, real elevation changes by South Florida standards, and a location near Jupiter’s dining, shopping, and lifestyle amenities.

Bear Lakes Country Club

Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach adds a more private, club-oriented option to the golf landscape near Singer Island. Its location is convenient to I-95, downtown West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Island, and Singer Island, which makes it especially relevant for buyers who want oceanfront living but still value access to a full country club environment nearby.

Golf is central to the Bear Lakes experience. The club features two 18-hole courses, including the Jack Nicklaus Signature Lakes Course and the Links Course by Davis Love III, which Bear Lakes describes as inspired by seaside Scottish links golf. The Lakes Course offers bunkering, water features, and multiple tee options, while the club also emphasizes a state-of-the-art practice facility, tennis, dining, and a contemporary clubhouse.

Palm Beach Golf Club

Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course is one of the most distinctive golf experiences near Singer Island. Set between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway on Palm Beach, the course offers 18 par-3 holes ranging from 81 to 211 yards, with three sets of tees on each hole. It also includes a full-length driving range, putting green, practice bunker, pro shop, and a two-story Key West-style clubhouse.

The setting is what makes Palm Beach Par 3 so memorable. It is not simply a short course. It is a coastal golf experience with ocean breezes, water views, and a relaxed Palm Beach atmosphere that pairs naturally with the Singer Island lifestyle. For residents who want a quicker round, a casual outing with guests, or a scenic place to sharpen their short game, it is a particularly appealing nearby option.

A major part of the experience is Al Fresco, the restaurant and bar located on the second level of the clubhouse. Al Fresco describes its patio as one of the only waterfront dining experiences in Palm Beach, with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Intracoastal Waterway, and Palm Beach Par 3. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, with American-Italian cuisine and a setting that makes it as much a lifestyle stop as a post-round convenience.

What Golf Access Adds to Singer Island Real Estate

For real estate buyers, golf access adds another layer of value to Singer Island. The island already has strong lifestyle appeal because of its beaches, oceanfront condos, resort-style amenities, and location between Palm Beach and Jupiter. Nearby golf strengthens that appeal by giving buyers another reason to see Singer Island as a complete luxury destination.

This is especially true for couples and families with different priorities. One person may care most about golf. Another may care more about the beach, boating, dining, or low-maintenance condo living. Singer Island can satisfy both sides of that equation better than many single-purpose communities.

Buying on Singer Island as a Golfer

For golfers considering Singer Island, the key is to think about lifestyle first. The island offers oceanfront living with golf close by, not a golf community with the ocean somewhere in the distance. That is exactly why many buyers find it appealing.

For buyers who want to understand how a specific building, view, amenity package, or location on Singer Island fits their golf and lifestyle goals, working with a local expert matters. Angela Voland can help buyers compare the island’s condo options, understand the surrounding lifestyle, and find the right Singer Island residence for the way they actually want to live. To schedule an appointment, give Angela a call or text at (561) 232-4113 or contact her here.

What to Know Before Buying a Condo on Singer Island in 2026

Buying a condo on Singer Island is about more than choosing a beautiful view. It is about understanding the building, the lifestyle, the association, the financials, and how each property fits the way you plan to live in South Florida.

For many buyers, Singer Island offers exactly what they are looking for: oceanfront living, access to boating, a quieter atmosphere than Miami and Fort Lauderdale, and close proximity to the restaurants, shopping, golf, culture, and private-club lifestyle of Palm Beach County. The island is only about four miles long, but the condo market is surprisingly nuanced. Two buildings may sit close together and offer entirely different ownership experiences.

That is why a successful Singer Island search begins with the right local guidance.

Singer Island Is Not a One-Size-Fits-All Condo MarketSinger Island has a wide range of condominium buildings, from established oceanfront towers to resort-style residences and newer luxury communities. Some buildings appeal to seasonal residents who want ease, service, security, and a lock-and-leave lifestyle. Others are better suited to full-time residents who care about storage, parking, social atmosphere, guest policies, and long-term comfort.

A buyer looking for a winter residence from may have different priorities than someone relocating to Florida full-time. A boater may care about proximity to the Palm Beach Inlet and nearby marinas. A buyer who wants a true resort experience may focus on concierge service, valet, spa amenities, dining, beach service, and poolside living.

Public real estate portals can show listings, photos, and basic property details, but they rarely explain the differences that matter most. On Singer Island, the details can determine whether a condo feels like the perfect fit or an expensive compromise.

Look Beyond the ViewA direct ocean view is one of the great pleasures of owning on Singer Island, but it should not be the only factor driving the decision.

Views vary significantly from building to building and even from stack to stack within the same building. Some residences offer wide Atlantic Ocean views. Others capture the Intracoastal, the Palm Beach Inlet, city lights, sunsets, or a combination of water exposures. Higher floors often command a premium, but they are not automatically the best choice for every buyer. Some owners prefer a lower floor with a stronger connection to the beach, pool, and landscaping.

Floor plan is just as important. Buyers who plan to host family or guests during season should think carefully about bedroom separation, elevator access, parking, storage, and guest comfort.

HOA Fees, Insurance, and Reserves MatterLuxury condominium ownership includes shared costs. On Singer Island, monthly association fees may cover services and amenities such as security, concierge, valet, pool maintenance, fitness facilities, beach access, landscaping, management, building insurance, reserves, and common-area upkeep.

The question is not simply whether the fee is high or low. The better question is what the fee includes, whether the association is properly funded, and whether the building is being managed responsibly.

These may not be the most glamorous parts of the search, but they are often the details that protect a buyer from surprises later.

Lifestyle Is a Major Part of the ValueSinger Island appeals to buyers who want South Florida waterfront living without giving up convenience. Residents enjoy direct beach access, boating nearby, snorkeling and diving at Blue Heron Bridge or kayaking and paddleboarding at John D. MacArthur Beach State Park.

At the same time, the island sits close to the broader Palm Beach lifestyle. Dining, shopping, cultural events, golf, Worth Avenue and Palm Beach International Airport are all within reach.

That combination is one of Singer Island’s biggest advantages. It offers the feeling of a private waterfront retreat while still keeping owners connected to the best of Palm Beach County.

For seasonal residents, that can mean an easy winter escape. For full-time residents, it can mean a more relaxed version of luxury coastal living.

Sellers Need Local Strategy TooThis same building-specific knowledge matters for sellers.

A Singer Island condo owner preparing to list in 2026 should expect buyers to be more informed and more selective. Luxury buyers are still willing to pay for the right residence, but they want confidence. They want to understand the building, the association, the financials, the amenities, the view, and the value relative to other options on the island.

Strong photography is important, but it is not enough. A well-positioned listing should explain why the residence stands out and why the building makes sense for today’s buyer.

For sellers, the right local representation can help frame the property properly, anticipate buyer questions, and position the residence against competing inventory.

The Best Search Starts With a ConversationSinger Island remains one of South Florida’s most desirable oceanfront condo markets, but it is not a market where buyers should rely only on online listings. The island is too specific, and the buildings are too different.

Things to Do with Your Pet in the Palm Beaches

Palm Beach County is one of the most pet-friendly communities in the Country. There are plenty of places to bring your pets where both you and they can have a good time. Here are some things to do in the Palm Beaches with your dog.

Dog Parks

Dog Parks are rapidly appearing across the nation and The Palm Beaches are home to many beautiful grounds through Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation. Be sure to check out the new Lake Woof Dog Park located in John Prince Park in Lake Worth. This four-acre grassland is equipped with five fenced-in enclosures with three separate sections for small, medium and large dogs, five covered gazebos, multiple dog wash stations, and several water fountains. Along with Lake Woof Dog Park, The Palm Beaches are home to many other dog parks. Jupiter is also in the process of building a park that pups and owners are guaranteed to enjoy.

Use the correct dog park etiquette: picking up after your dog, keeping your dog on a leash until you are in the permitted off-leash areas, and paying attention to your dog to ensure they aren’t playing too rough with the others.

Shopping

Take a stroll down Worth Avenue and when window shopping gets the best of you, stop for a drink at one the four dog-watering fountains around town. Pet Park at CityPlace in West Palm Beach spoils your canine by providing a shady patch of grass with a water fountain accessible. Your pup can rehydrate after a long day of shopping and sniffing.

Events

Clematis by Night takes place on Thursday nights in downtown West Palm Beach. Dog friends are always welcomed at this waterfront hot spot. You and your pup can experience a night on the town with live music and entertainment all around.

Looking to give your dog a unique experience?

Sign your pal up for surfing lessons. Located just north of Jupiter Reef Club, the dog beach is the prime spot for weekend surf lessons.

Dining

While you are out and about in The Palm Beaches, stop by one of the pet-friendly restaurants so you and your canine can refuel. Boston’s on the Beach in Delray is just one example of the pet-friendly places to eat in The Palm Beaches. Their covered patio and Pooch Menu featuring pet-friendly Bowser Beer is a hit for dogs and their owners. Just north in West Palm Beach, is the vegetarian restaurant, Darbster. Named after the owner’s late poodle, Darby, all profits of this eatery go to the Darbster Animal Rescue Organization.

Sailfish Marina Re-Opens

Known as a worldwide fishing destination with Thursday night sunset celebrations, Sailfish Marina Resort has officially re-opened after COVID-19.

Indoor seating is available for 25 capacity per county rules, and there is plenty of ample outdoor seating at their recently added tiki bar. Known as a hot spot for Northern Palm Beach locals, as well as visitors in the fishing and yachting community, we can now sip on libations and eat island-inspired dishes in the open outdoors again. In true South Florida fashion, the bar embraces an island vibe with tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, wood-burned fish designs, and enough margarita machines to keep Jimmy Buffet at the dock.

Sailfish Marina Resort is open seven days a week from 7am to 10pm, and is located at 98 Lake Drive on Singer Island.

Snorkel the Reef at Ocean Reef Park

Palm Beach County has one of the most diverse marine ecosystems in the world, so snorkeling and diving one of the 181 reef sites is a magical experience. On Singer Island, the reef at Ocean Reef Park is shallow and close enough to shore to be a great spot for beginners and non-Florida natives. Since 700 feet of the beach is also protected by lifeguards, no dive flag is necessary as long as you swim in the guarded area between the buoy and shore.

At low tide, you can see the reef protruding from the ocean, and at high tide, waves crash on the shoreline rocks to explode into a natural splash fountain.

A beach wheelchair is available for use, as well as picnic areas with grills, a playground, restroom facilities, and an outdoor shower. Parking is free.

Address: 3860 N Ocean Drive, Riviera Beach, FL 33404
