The beautiful John D. MacArthur Beach State Park on the northern end of Singer Island is a great place to enjoy nature at any time. There's a beach, fishing pier, walking trails, nature center with cool animals and more. On top of that, the "Friends" of the park often host super fun events like concerts and family-fun days as well as educational events like beach clean ups and different guest speaker series. Here's what's planned so far in October:
Adventure Watersports, located on the Riviera waterfront right across the Intracoastal from Palm Beach Shores, is Singer Island's closest destination for all things fun on the water. From adrenaline-pumping wakeboarding and water skiing to relaxing sunset cruises on a brand new Sea Ray 270 Sundeck, Adventure Watersports has something for everyone.
A popular golf club for Singer Island residents, the North Palm Beach Country Club is making progress on upgrades to their clubhouse and course.
DAS Beer Garden in Downtown Abacoa is opening a new craft beer and pizza location on Singer Island!
Hey Singer Island and North Palm Beach residents, good news! There's a new draft house in the heart of North Palm and it's going to be your new favorite spot.
Local resident, Matt Lerer, caught a pretty cool video of some tarpon chasing a mullet run on Friday. Tarpon are sought-after game fish for avid anglers, and while they're not good to eat, they still put up a good fight and are fun to catch and release. While peak tarpon season is during the summertime, you can spot the tarpon chasing large schools of mullet well into fall.
