Join Pura Vida Divers on Singer Island this Friday for a discussion about the non-profit, The Manta Project. Jessica Pate, founder of the new, local non-profit, will be discussing what the organization's goals are, the research they are pursuing, and ways scuba divers can be involved. The evening's itinerary is as follows:
6:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.: Happy Hour. Fresh appetizers on the dive shop, sip wine and beer, chat with guests, Jessica Pate, and dive shop owners. Bring your own "potluck" dish to share if you choose.
7 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.: Presentation by Jessica Pate, founder of The Manta Project.
7:45 p.m. - 8 p.m.: Questions and 50/50 raffle drawing. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the organization. The winner of the raffle will recieve a gift certificate for the value of half the proceeds raised which they can choose to keep or donate.
