John D. MacArthur Beach State Park stands out as an “island in time” by preserving the natural heritage of subtropical coastal habitat that once covered southeast Florida. It is the only state park in Palm Beach County, and an environmental treasure which has been preserved for present and future generations to come.

Located on Singer Island, guests can enjoy almost two miles of pristine beach, swimming, snorkeling, and fishing in the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

This hidden gem includes a welcome center, a gift shop, kayak rentals, a children’s playground, nature trails, and picnicking facilities.

The beautiful John D. MacArthur Beach State Park on the northern end of Singer Island is a great place to enjoy nature at any time. There's a beach, fishing pier, walking trails, nature center with cool animals and more. On top of that, the "Friends" of the park often host super fun events like concerts and family-fun days as well as educational events like beach clean ups and different guest speaker series. Here's what's planned so far in October:

Saturday, October 13th- Beach Cleanup 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

About: "Ocean trash can entrap and strangle ocean wildlife including endangered sea turtles. Please join us to preserve our water ways. Community service hours will be provided for school aged participants." 

Wednesday, October 17th- Cruisin' Food
