One of Singer Island's Premier Restaurants is Getting a Revamped Menu

3800 Ocean, the premier restaurant at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Resort and one of the top restaurants on the island, recently welcomed a new executive chef and will soon be offering a revamped menu.

Gustavo Calderon took over as the executive chef in June and is now in the process of updating the resort's food and drink offerings alongside current general manager, and former executive chef Larry LaValley. The goal is to unveil the brand new menu in October, just in time for the 2016 season.

Calderon has stated that his goal is to further enhance the restaurant’s culinary experience and menu offerings at not just 3800 Ocean, but also the casual dining areas at the pool and beach by creating strong relationships with local farmers. The new menu, while specializing in American regional cuisine, will include inspirational dishes based on the cultural backgrounds of each of the chefs in the restaurant. Those backgrounds range from New England and Long Island, to Mexico and even Jamaica.

The hotel currently offers its guests a variety of dining options, including the exclusive "Kitchen Table". Set to accommodate up to five people, the "Kitchen Table" offers a personalized dining experience where the guests can go into the 3800 Ocean kitchen and have a five-course specialty menu created on the spot just for them by Calderon and his team.
