MacArthur Park Hosting Introduction to Surfing Class

Have you ever wanted to learn how to surf? Ever watch people shredding it up on the ocean and think, "that looks fun!"? Well, now is your chance to give it a try!

On August 27th, MacArthur park is hosting a Introduction to Surfing class. The ranger led course will focus on the basics of surfing and include lessons on both land and water. The class is open to anyone 12 years of age or older (children under 18 must be accompnaied by an adult in the water). The class begins at 10am and, while it is free with park admission, reservations are required.

MacArthur Park is located on the north end of Singer Island and constantly offers guided tours and nature walks, as well as a slew of other activities for all ages. For more information, or to resreve a spot in the Introduction to Surfing class, call 561-624-6952.
