The newly renovated Riviera Marina is about to get its first tenant!

Rafiki Tiki is set to open this fall at the Riviera Beach Marina Event Center and will offer both indoor and outdoor seating near the Intracoastal. The restaurant will be locally owned and operated by Demetri Solloum. Solloum is a longtime business owner in the area. He operates a large catering company in Riviera Beach and also owned the Citgo gas station on Blue Heron.

"It has been our goal from the beginning of this project to provide opportunities for Riviera Beach residents and business owners, and we welcome Mr. Solloum to Marina Village with great enthusiasm,” said Tony Brown, executive director of the Riviera Beach CRA. “We have created a spectacular waterfront destination, and this new establishment will give visitors one more reason to come by and see what we’ve accomplished.”

The restuarant will have a similar vibe as the old Tiki Waterfront Sea Grill, which had been a longtime staple in the area. The restaurant will have 1,047 square feet of indoor space and another 1,591 square feet of outdoor space. The restaurant will be open seven days a week and will feature a relxed, island vacation type atmosphere with tropical drinks, live music, cool colors and flowers. The menu will be Mediterranean and South Florida inspired with a wide variety of vegetarian and international choices.

The first phase of the new marina was recently completed with the opening of the two-story Marina Event Center and Bicentennial Park. Rafiki Tiki will be the first of hopefully many restaurants that the city fo Riviera Beach has planned for the new marina. Future plans for the marina include a waterfront restaurant row as well as shops.

The new and improved Riviera Beach Marina is located just across from Singer Island, next to the Port of Palm Beach.
