Charity KDW Tournament and After-party at Sailfish Marina

This Sunday, May 20th, is the CureNFwithJack Charity Fishing Tournament to create awareness of neurofibromatosis.

The tournament begins at 8 a.m. and is followed by an after-party  at Sailfish Marina on Singer Island at 3 p.m. A KDW tournament, anglers are trying to catch the biggest Kingfish, Dolphin, and Wahoo for a shot at 1st place and a $1,500 grand prize.

The CureNFwith Jack Tournament began when Jake and Beth O’Brien Burke’s son Jack was diagnosed with neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a genetic disorder in which nerve tissues grow benign tumors that compress nerves and other tissues, causing serious damage to the body. The Burkes hope that by bringing people together, spreading awareness about NF, and supporting medical research will result in a cure for NF.
